2011 Life Conference Speakers
Judie Brown is president and co-founder of American Life League, the nation's largest grassroots pro-life educational organization.
She is currently serving her second five-year term as a member of the Pontifical Academy for Life in Rome. Daily Catholic cited her as one of the top 100 Catholics of the 20th century.
Judie has appeared on 20/20, 60 Minutes, Mother Angelica Live, The O'Reilly Factor, Good Morning America, Today, Oprah, and Larry King Live, as well as hundreds of other television and radio talk shows. Her comments regularly appear in major print media nationwide, and she has written numerous editorial pieces for magazines and newspapers, including The Washington Post and USA Today.
Judie is married to Paul A. Brown, and they have three children and nine grandchildren. She and her husband have been involved in the pro-life movement since 1969.

William Beckman is executive director at Illinois Right to Life Committee (IRLC) in Chicago. In that role he has covered and researched topics on a wide variety of life issues including abortion, contraception, stem cell research, in vitro fertilization, assisted suicide, euthanasia, hospice, brain death, and other end-of-life issues.
IRLC offers a life-affirming durable power of attorney for health care called the Patient Self-Protection Document (PSPD). As the culture of death has gotten bolder in finding ways to hasten death, William has updated and promoted the PSPD, along with giving numerous presentations on end-of-life issues, including advance directives, hospice care issues, and brain death criteria for organ donation. He also developed a hospice checklist.
William has developed and recorded radio messages on a variety of life issues. These messages have been played on a number of Chicago area radio stations.
He joined the board of directors of The Women's Center pregnancy help center in 2000 and now serves as president of that board. He is married to Nancy with four grown children, two of them married, and two grandchildren so far.

Rev. Clenard Childress, Jr. is the President of the Life Education And Resource Network (L.E.A.R.N.) in the Northeast Region www.learninc.org. In September of 2002, he birthed the Pro-life website www.Blackgenocide.org. This website was designed to reach the Afro-American Community with the truth about abortion.
In March Of 2006 he authored his first book No Shepherd’s Cry. He and his book were featured on the 700 Club. Rev. Childress Jr. has repeatedly been featured in World Magazine and has contributed commentary and editorials for Christianity Today, The Christian Post, Black Christian News, The Washington Times and New Jersey Star Ledger and is a regular columnist on Alan Keyes Renew America.
He is joyously married to Regina Childress and has four children: Clenard, Thomas, Tonya and Tia.

Fr. Victor Salomón is the worldwide Director of Hispanic Outreach for Priests for Life, the largest pro-life ministry in the Catholic Church. He was born in Venezuela, and belongs to the Diocesan Laborer Priests, a priestly association of pontifical right, dedicated to vocational youth ministry and priestly formation centered upon The Eucharist.
He was ordained to the priesthood in 1998 in Caracas, Venezuela. He has a background in sociology, and has served as a pastor and in priestly formation work. He served on the Governing Council of the Diocesan Laborer Priests in Venezuela until he was sent to serve in the United States in 2005.
As a member of the Diocesan Laborer Priests, Fr. Salomón has taught courses to promote vocations. He has also been a retreat master, a spiritual director, and a professor of theology, family communication and enculturation.
Fr. Salomón also specializes in healing after abortion, and helps to conduct Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats in Spanish in various parts of the world.
As Director of Hispanic Outreach for Priests for Life, Fr. Victor is the host of EWTN’s Spanish version of Defending Life, which reaches Hispanics throughout Latin America, Spain, the United States, and other parts of the world. He is a columnist on the digital publication The Americano and author of the pro-life novel entitled “Interview at 3:00 am: The First Call of God”.
Fr. Salomón is deeply concerned about the loss of life caused by abortion, especially in the Hispanic community in the United States.
